Review Writing

Students explored review writing, which is categorized as informational writing about reading, because it is very publishable and widely used as a tool to help people decide how to spend their time and money. We started with children's books and short stories with two different practice reviews that received rubric grades and feedback. Students will be applying their skills to their independent reading books next, to provide another opportunity to prove mastery of these skills.
